Somewhere between the tall elephant grass of Kaziranga and the soft green rows of Assam's tea gardens, a new stay is taking shape. Voyage Eco Village Resort, a new eco resort in Kaziranga, is set to open its doors soon. It brings the warm, thoughtful hospitality of Voyage Hotels & Resorts to one of India's most adventurous wildlife destinations, in the heart of Assam's.

An Eco Resort Designed Around Nature

True to its name, Voyage Eco Village Resort is built around nature rather than in spite of it. Expect villa-style stays set amid greenery, with quiet mornings, birdsong and wide open skies.

Days here can begin with an early Kaziranga jeep safari into the park and end with a relaxed evening back at the resort. Our team will help you plan safaris, tea garden visits and local experiences, so you spend less time arranging and more time exploring.

Rooms Designed for Every Kind of Traveller

Voyage Eco Village Resort offers three styles of stay, each with its own view of Assam's natural beauty.

Today the group runs a Material Recovery Facility, where collected waste is sorted before trucks take it away for recycling with support under the Swachh Bharat Mission, the village has also set up a dedicated plastic waste management unit to handle the plastic that tourism brings.

Why Stay in Kaziranga?

Few places in the world feel as alive as Kaziranga National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site on the banks of the Brahmaputra is home to about two-thirds of the world's greater one-horned rhinoceros population. It also shelters wild elephants, swamp deer, wild water buffalo and one of the highest densities of tigers among India's protected areas.

Every winter, the park's wetlands and grasslands fill with migratory birds, making Kaziranga a favourite with birdwatchers and wildlife photographers.

For many travellers, Kaziranga has long been a quick stop on a Northeast India itinerary. With Voyage Eco Village Resort, it becomes a destination worth slowing down for, with two or three unhurried days to explore the park's ranges, the tea estates and the rhythm of rural Assam.

Things to Do Around the Resort:

  • Jeep safaris through Kaziranga's Central, Western and Eastern ranges.
  • Tea garden walks through the estates around Kaziranga.
  • Village and cultural experiences to see everyday life in rural Assam.

Our team can help you plan and book each of these during your stay.

Best Time to Visit Kaziranga

Kaziranga National Park is generally open to visitors from October to April, though opening dates can vary by range and year. The cooler months from October to February are the most comfortable. Wildlife sightings tend to be best from February to April, when the grasslands are burned back and thin out, making animals easier to spot.

The park stays closed during the monsoon, when the Brahmaputra floods its lowlands and animals move to higher ground.

How to Reach Voyage Eco Village Resort

The nearest airport is Jorhat, about 95 km away. Guwahati, roughly 200 km away, offers wider flight and rail connections. Both routes follow the scenic highway along the park's edge.
